7 Easy Tips
To Breaking The Stubborn Weight Loss Chains
1. Eat 5 – 6 times a day – eating smaller meals throughout the day keeps your body from being hungry, craving junk foods and mindless snacking. Also eating protein helps your body to release a fat burning hormone. Your evening meals should not be large portions of heavy protein; the protein needed should be no more than the size of a deck of cards. The largest meals of the day should be breakfast and lunch. Your body has more time to utilize the fuel from these meals and you also burn more calories during the day.
You can also incorporate green tea, milk, protein drinks, vegetable juice - low sodium.
3. Reduce your salt intake - sodium in large amounts leads to water retention. bloating and high blood pressure. Keep your sodium intake to 1500mg a day. Look for reduced sodium soups, juices, vegetables, bread, crackers and cereals.
4. Try working out in the morning - the
energy you expend during the day will burn calories and you also will have more
energy during the day. As soon as you wake up in the morning, workout for at
least 30 minutes to an hour. Studies have shown that working out in
the morning can burn up to three times more fat as opposed to working out at
any other time during the day.
5. Reduce stress - stress causing cortisol
you will keep your body from losing weight . Cortisol is called the "stress
hormone" because it is secreted during times of fear or stress, whenever
your body goes into the fight or flight response. Cortisol is produced in your
adrenals. If you are continually
“stressed out” you will keep producing cortisol and continue to have problems losing weight and keeping it off. Cortisol has been
reported to cause weight gain, especially in the abdominal region, (belly fat) and the waist.
Stress reducing hints:
Try listening to calming music, take a hot soothing bath, keep a gratitude journal, light some candles, have some “alone time”, use essential oils, get a massage, exercise for about twelve minutes this helps the “good mood” endorphins kick in or just “chill out” and watch a funny movie.
6. Detox - Every person accumulates unwanted material in their bowels and some of it becomes stuck like glue and this can lead to gas, bloating and weight gain. The vitamins, minerals that we take are not being absorbed into the bloodstream because they cannot pass through all this material. There are many safe, easy to use, all natural detox programs on the market. It has been said by doctors that most diseases "begin in the colon".
Fact - you can actually lose about five to
ten pounds by just doing a colon cleanse.

We tend to like to "sleep in" on the weekends and our days off from work but that is not recommended. Also if you have trouble getting to sleep at night, you should not take "cat naps".
Just a quick note: You do not need to tackle all these tips at once start slowly and make changes gradually little baby steps and they will become life long habits which will lead to a happy, healthier slimmer you.
